Pattaya is a city located in Eastern Thailand, the second-largest city in Chonburi province. It is on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, located in southeast of Bangkok, and has a population more than 360.000 as of 2026

Pattaya, located 150 km southeast of Bangkok in Chon Buri Province, is a major, vibrant coastal city known for its lively nightlife, diverse beaches (Pattaya and Jomtien), and extensive water sports. It has evolved into a versatile destination, offering attractions like the Sanctuary of Truth, island tours to Koh Lan, and family-friendly spots, alongside a bustling, high-energy atmosphere on Walking Street.

- Infrastructure Development: The city government is actively undertaking major road improvements, including improvements to Soi Khao Noi and roads along the railway line to improve driving comfort.
- “Neo Pattaya” Vision: The city is transforming into an international business hub and MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) destination through a partnership with the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB).
- Sustainable Tourism: Pattaya recently launched Thailand’s first Sea Walker licensing trial on Koh Larn to regulate underwater walking activities to be safer and less damaging to coral reefs.
